Single Source Contract Regulations 2014 - SSRO Review

The Single Source Regulations office has a duty to keep the single source pricing framework under review, with this obligation commencing three years after the single source pricing regulations came into force. The SSRO is obliged to provide recommendations to the Secretary of State for Defence as to any changes that the SSRO considers are necessary to ensure that the single source pricing framework is fit for purpose and delivers its two primary aims of (i) providing contractors working on qualifying single source contracts a fair and reasonable price and (ii) good value for money is obtained on any expenditure on qualifying single source contracts.
